Understanding a week of earthquake activity

Many small earthquakes occur every day, particularly along tectonic plate boundaries. A cluster of dots does not by itself mean that a larger earthquake is imminent. Scientists cannot predict the precise time, place and magnitude of a future earthquake.

Does a cluster of earthquakes mean a big one is coming?

No. Clusters and swarms are common, and no method can predict the time, place and magnitude of a future earthquake.
